Delta Electronics Australia Unveils High-Speed Chargers to Support Long-Distance and Urban EV Travel

Delta Electronics, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, today unveiled two new high-capacity EV chargers to meet the growing demands of high-powered electric vehicles and charging infrastructure operators in Australia. The Ultra Fast Charge (UFC) 200kW and SLIM 100 100kW units combine robust performance with practical convenience features, offering versatile deployment for fast-charging corridors, parking and service stations, shopping centres, transport hubs, and commercial fleets

Mr Tom Hew,Country Manager, Delta Electronics Australia, highlighted how advanced charging solutions can accelerate EV adoption and strengthen the nation’s charging network .

“A key factor in driving EV adoption across a country as vast as Australia is ensuring drivers have access to fast, reliable charging options that are easy to use and cost-efficient to operate,” Mr Hew said.

“The Ultra Fast Charge 200 and SLIM 100 bring together high performance, ease of installation, and intelligent management tools to help operators deliver a seamless charging experience, whether that’s along a highway corridor, at a city transport hub, or within a commercial fleet network.”

Delta’s UFC 200kW: Robust, Reliable, Convenient

Delta's UFC 200 platform offers the convenience of a single charging station with the flexibility to charge up to two vehicles simultaneously. Two charging points are available for DC fast charging up to 200 kW.

Thanks to the integrated power management, available power can be optimised. The charging times of the vehicles can be reduced and the maximum currents at the grid connection point can be secured at all times.

For larger DC charging parks, additional variants and configurations are possible to optimise operation or to implement different traffic and parking concepts.

Delta’s SLIM 100kW: Flexible, Efficient, and Accessible

The SLIM 100 offers a maximum power output of 100 kW and includes rectifiers with 97 per cent power efficiency. It provides simultaneous charging of up to two vehicles and offers the convenience of DC charging.

With its ability to provide 100 kW of power in one cabinet, it is an ideal solution for space critical applications. This makes it well-suited to commercial applications, shopping centres, parking lots, and urban traffic hubs where installation space can be limited.

The UFC 200 and SLIM 100 join an extensive range of charging solutions, including the HPC 350 high power charging unit launched by Delta in 2024.

Designed to meet the robust demands of Australian and New Zealand highways and cityscapes, the High Power Charger 350kW boasts a liquid cooling system and delivers an industry-leading 540A output, enabling charging speeds up to 350kW. In just 10 minutes, drivers can add 250 to 300 km of range, making it ideal for long-distance travel and enhancing charger turnover at highway rest stops, urban charging hubs such as carparks and service stations as well as fleet business back- to-base operations.

Delta supports Australia’s electric mobility goals with its range of chargers and technology. Committed to sustainable solutions, Delta applies its brand promise, ‘Smarter. Greener. Together.’ to help Australia’s transport industry improve energy efficiency and productivity while reducing environmental impact. These efforts are part of Delta’s broader commitment to renewable energy, including its RE100 target.

Join us at the upcoming All Energy exhibition to explore the UFC 200 and Slim 100 in action at Booth HH123, where Delta will showcase its latest innovations driving the future of sustainable transportation.
