Delta Electronics partners with Everty to offer cost-saving smart charging

Sydney, May 4, 2022 - Delta Electronics Australia has today announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with Australian electric vehicle (EV) charging software company, Everty, at the Smart Energy 2022 expo, held at Sydney’s ICC. The partnership, a first within the industry, will see Delta’s range of consumer and public-facing smart chargers enabled with Everty’s intuitive software.

Everty-enabled Delta AC and DC electric vehicle chargers will benefit customers with access to real-time information around charger condition and maintenance, while also providing the potential for significant cost savings for users by offering the ability to select charging of electric vehicles at off-peak periods, when energy rates are at their lowest.

Everty Founder and CEO, Ms. Carola Jonas, was pleased to be partnering with Delta Electronics to empower consumers.
“The true cost of living is of great concern to all Australians, and as we’ve seen recently, fuel security and rising petrol costs is a major contributor to household pressures. Electric vehicles represent a cleaner, more sustainable form of mobility, and Everty’s platform ensures they are also the most cost efficient,” Ms. Jonas said.

Delta Electronics (Australia) Country Manager, Mr. David Leal, also saw great potential in its partnership with Everty.
“It’s not hard to see why Everty is such an industry game-changer and Aussie success story. By partnering with Everty, Delta Electronics can offer customers a regionally-specific service when using Delta’s EV chargers, unlike other off-the-shelf overseas alternatives. Most importantly, this partnership will give consumers the power to choose when and how they charge, and reap the benefits of that choice,” Mr. Leal said.

Delta's brand promise, ‘Smarter. Greener. Together.’ remains at the forefront of the brand’s development of smart and energy-efficient solutions. By offering customers Everty’s Software as a Service (SaaS) product with Delta’s extensive product range of AC and DC smart chargers, Delta will support customers who need load, energy, fleet and billing management solutions, and allow them to activate services ‘right out of the box’.
Everty’s powerful, proven, cloud-based software provides a raft of intuitive smart charging features for private and business customers, available in both a mobile phone app and computer desktop dashboard.

Homeowners can schedule charging sessions, control the power output, access charging session records, and increase solar self-consumption. Additional smart charging features will also support provision of solar energy and allow homes to feed power back to the grid – another potential cost saving.

Businesses can optimise day/night charging based on and off-peak rates and earn revenue through the software’s billing feature. Powerful analytics make it easy to manage a single charging station or a whole charging network. Remote monitoring and diagnostics further reduces operational expenditure and improves performance. Smart charging features for businesses include dynamic load management and fleet optimization by reducing the cost of charging. Businesses can also use renewable power from their onsite systems.

Delta’s range of Everty-equipped hardware will be available to Australian private and business consumers, for more information, please visit www.deltaelectronics.com.au and www.everty.com.au
